They are still asleep after a very long day of traveling from Utah to Nevada. They look like sleeping innocence. They are so beautiful. It wasn't so long ago that they were young girls and I had them close by to laugh, talk and share with them. They are home for the weekend. And I am SO happy that they are here.

It seems that this year, they have returned with new accomplishments. They seem more confident and sure. They seem to radiate more light. Perhaps it is just because I miss them so much that I see these things. But If I am right, then much has been learned and they are indeed growing up to be accomplished, wise young women.

Tomorrow, they will return to college and my house will be empty once again. My heart sinks at the very thought. But I will keep those thoughts in that reliable compartment in my heart that has a steel lock. Until the proper time.

In the meantime,I will prepare a happy breakfast. In just a few minutes, my house that has been quiet for far too long will burst into cheerful "good mornings" and I will again feel joy and completeness. Can't hardly wait.
